Position Summary:
Responsible for the management of the Inventory Control functions in compliance with total quality and continuous improvement strategies to include all facets of inventory accuracy including logistics, document flow, daily accuracy reports as well as identification of inaccuracy sources and recommended solutions to meet inventory accuracy goals.

Establish goals within budgets, capabilities, and capacities necessary and sufficient to achieve "Total Customer Satisfaction" through 100% fill rate, "on time, as ordered, damage free".
Develop operating plans required to achieve Corelle Brands strategic goals.
Monitor implementation of plans. Adjust, correct and/or change as circumstances or feedback dictate.
Professional management of inventory requirements within the WM SAP module for up to 10,000 SKUs; approximately $40 -60 MM inventory.
Maintain an efficient, orderly and clean work environment in facilities (racking, inventory) for the 1.0 million ft2 floor space.
Pro-actively identify and implement best-in-class controls to reduce inventory loss and write offs.
Deliver Continuous Improvement by seeking 'out of the box' alternatives and challenging status quo.
Review, discipline and counsel personnel as required to maintain a high level of employee performance.
Establish systems to monitor performance measures and improve inventory accuracy.
Enhance and manage reporting structure on cycle counting and production systems.
Inventory processes are in place that meet operational performance goals.
Inventory policies and procedures and work instructions are followed.
Operating plans, tasks list, checklists, operating instructions, forms and procedures are current.
Inventory cycle counts and procedures meet or exceed all audit requirements.
Outstanding communicator both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate with hourly team members and other department managers to grow teamwork and improve alignment and performance results.
Active and contributing member of the ERDC senior leadership team.
Knowledge of a wide variety of manufacturing IT systems.
Bachelor of Science in Industrial or Quality Engineering preferred
5-10 years' experience in Quality Assurance OR Equivalent combination of education & experience
SAP proficiency
Demonstrated Lean/Six Sigma process management orientation or formal credentials
Management and Supervisory development training

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
