Position
Summary:
Member of financial team that produces, analyzes, and reports financials and other facility metrics necessary for day to day operations of Assembly and Distribution Center
Primary
Responsibilities:
Perform period end close responsibilities, included but not limited to journal entries
Assist Controller with analysis of period end results
Complete and Analyze production reports and identify root cause of production variance
Participate and represent finance team on daily Gemba walks
Work with facility team members on cycle count analysis and identify trends for process improvements
Organize and complete Annual Fixed Asset Inventories
Complete Account reconciliations and analysis implementing corrective actions when necessary
Develop and Maintain Operational Manuals as necessary
Complete Government reports as necessary
Assist in completing internal and external audit requests as necessary
Development of budget and forecast volumes/amounts
Drive Process Improvements in Accounting/Reporting processes
Prepare Ad-hoc requests as necessary
Participate/Lead in Kaizen Events as necessary
Complete Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt Analysis and Reconciliations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting Emphasis
3-5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance environment
Work with Little Supervision
Strong Work Ethic
Enhanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
ERP Experience (SAP, AS400, Etc.)
Individual looking for Career Growth
Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule when necessary
Costing/Manufacturing/Distribution Experience, preferred
