As the Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations.
You will oversee all aspects of quality control and assurance, including implementing and maintaining quality systems, conducting quality audits, and managing quality inspection processes.
Duties - Manages, plans, coordinates, and directs the Gate 7 Quality Management System designed to ensure continuous production/service consistent with established standards.
- Maintaining QMS manual to current standards, monitoring and implementing any changes to reflect the standard - Develops and implements methods and procedures to enhance continuous improvements, in order to inform management of current status - Promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization - Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to bring the Company's Quality Systems and Policies into compliance with current quality system requirements - Effectively interact with Production staff to establish and maintain quality improvements - Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
- Considering the application of health and safety standards when implementing environmental procedures - Agreeing standards and establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff to apply - Defining quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff - Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures - Liaising with customers' auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customers' specifications - Preparing clear explanatory documents in accordance with the current standard.
- Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data, producing statistical reports and ensuring information is communicated throughout the organization accordingly - Organize and manage quality assurance function in close co-operation with the customers and with the Company's Management team - Formulates and maintains quality control objectives, and coordinates objectives with production personnel to maximize quality and reliability and to minimize costs - Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to quality and reliability.
Interprets company policy to employees and enforces company policy and practices - Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary - Bringing together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree comprehensive quality procedures - Persuading reluctant staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality methods.
- Culture Change - Manage and maintain the Company's quality inspection and product release programs for incoming and in-process materials and components, processes and finished goods - Formulate and manage the development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, procedures, and systems pertaining to the Quality Management System - Setting quality control compliance objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved - Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues - Maintaining audits by planning; preparation; auditing; writing the audit report and follow-up actions - May investigate customer complaints regarding quality and make appropriate adjustments Requirements - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience - Proven experience in quality management, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment - In-depth knowledge of quality systems, standards, and regulations - Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions - Proficient in project management techniques and tools - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills If you are a highly motivated individual with a passion for ensuring product quality, we encourage you to apply for this position.
